Ticket Terms and Conditions
Important Information
By purchasing a ticket for Wales Comic Con, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully, as they outline your rights and obligations as a ticket holder.
1. Ticket Purchase and Contract
1.1 A legally binding contract is formed when your ticket purchase is accepted by us.
1.2 Acceptance of your order is subject to ticket availability for the selected event.
1.3 Confirmation of your order will be sent via email, which serves as proof of your purchase.
1.4 Full payment, including booking fees and applicable taxes, must be received before an order is confirmed.
1.5 All tickets are non-transferable and non-refundable, except in specific circumstances as outlined below.
1.6 If an event is cancelled, we will notify you via our official website and social media channels.
1.7 If an event is rescheduled, your ticket will be valid for the new date, and we will inform you accordingly.
2. Ticket Delivery and Validity
2.1 Tickets will be delivered to the email address provided at the time of purchase.
2.2 It is your responsibility to check your ticket upon receipt and inform us of any errors as soon as possible.
2.3 Lost, stolen, or damaged tickets will not be replaced, except at our discretion and with appropriate proof of purchase.
2.4 Each ticket contains a unique barcode or QR code for entry. Only the first scan will be valid, and duplicate or copied tickets will be void.
2.5 Tickets purchased from unauthorized sellers or resold without our consent will be invalid and entry will be denied.
3. Entry and Venue Access
3.1 Admission to the event is subject to venue capacity and health and safety regulations.
3.2 Wales Comic Con reserves the right to refuse entry for any reason, including but not limited to: late arrival, inappropriate behaviour, safety concerns, or violation of venue policies.
3.3 Re-entry may be restricted or denied based on event guidelines, including final entry times.
3.4 Certain areas of the event may have age restrictions, and you are responsible for ensuring you meet these requirements.
4. Guest Cancellations and Credit Policy
4.1 All guest appearances are subject to professional commitments, personal circumstances, and travel conditions.
4.2 In the event that a guest cancels, we will first attempt to reconfirm the guest for a future event to honour your original booking. If this is not possible, we will offer affected ticket holders a credit voucher equal to the value of the original ticket or photo/autograph session, redeemable against other guests at the same event or any future Wales Comic Con events.
4.3 Credit vouchers are non-transferable, non-refundable, and must be used within 12 months of the original event date, unless otherwise stated.
4.4 Refunds will not be provided for guest cancellations unless required by law.
4.5 While our policy is to offer credit vouchers for guest-related cancellations, we understand that exceptional circumstances may arise. If you believe your situation warrants further discussion, please reach out to us at tickets@walescomiccon.com and our team will do their best to assist.
4.6 If an entire event is cancelled, our standard event cancellation policy will apply.
5. Liability and Indemnity
5.1 We do not accept liability for any loss, damage, or injury arising from your attendance at the event, except where caused by our negligence.
5.2 You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Mercury Promotions & Events Ltd from any claims, damages, or liabilities resulting from your actions at the event.
6. Privacy and Data Protection
6.1 By purchasing a ticket, you consent to the collection and use of your personal data as outlined in our Privacy Policy.
6.2 We will not sell, trade, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes without your consent.
7. Event Photography and Filming
7.1 By attending the event, you consent to being photographed or filmed. These images and recordings may be used for promotional purposes without compensation.
7.2 If you do not wish to be included in event photography or filming, please notify a member of staff upon arrival.
8. Changes to Terms and Conditions
8.1 We reserve the right to update or amend these terms at any time without prior notice.
8.2 Your continued use of your ticket constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
9. Governing Law
9.1 These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be resolved under the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
